1.SOLAR INSTALLATIONS
<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

i) Solar lighting (PV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

is a lighting<\/b> system composed of a LED lamp<\/b>, solar<\/b> panels, battery, charge controller and there may also be an inverter. The lamp<\/b> operates on electricity from batteries, charged through the use of solar<\/b> panel (solar<\/b> photovoltaic panel)<\/span><\/span><\/p>

ii) Solar Hot water system<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Solar water heating (SWH) is the conversion of sunlight into heat for water heating using a solar thermal collector. A variety of configurations is available at varying cost to provide solutions in different climates and latitudes. SWHs are widely used for residential and some industrial applications. A sun-facing collector heats a working fluid that passes into a storage system for later use. SWH are active (pumped) and passive (convection-driven). They use water only, or both water and a working fluid. They are heated directly or via light-concentrating mirrors. They operate independently or as hybrids with electric or gas heaters. In large-scale installations, mirrors may concentrate sunlight into a smaller collector.\u00a0<\/p>

iii) Solar Water Pumping<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Solar water pumps<\/b> are powered<\/b> by solar<\/b> panels. Once you have the panel, all the energy you need comes from the sun and is completely free!<\/span><\/span><\/div>

iv) Solar Grid ties<\/strong><\/span><\/div>
In Grid Tie Solar Power , the Energy produced by solar panels is directly connected to Kenya Power Grid by the inverter. The main advantage of this system is that there is no need for batteries. The main parts of Grid Inverters are Solar Panels, Grid Tie Inverter and Mounting structure.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
